My friend who got married up north was a former colleague who sat next beside me in our little cubicle which is not so cubic. He was quite annoying at first ( jangan marah, nanti kene jual) but turned out to be an okay dude and i felt that he was kinda of my little brother who i didn't have. Plus he is way younger than me.
So on the eve of Chinese New Year, we departed from Sri Kinabalu around 12.15pm hoping to reach Ipoh on time. There were quite a number of cars on the road but achieving a speed of 110km/h was achievable. By the time we reached the hall, it was about 2.45pm. The lauk was only left overs :( but still eatable :) But since we were already late, there were not so many crowds around so we could enjoy our food with less stress. We took our own sweet time plus the hall was air conditioned.
After finised eating, i managed to chit chat with the groom and catch up with old time sake. Before we left, we took some photograph before heading towards Taiping town for our mini cuti-cuti Malaysia.
To Haniff and Darwin, congratulations to you both and may your lives be filled with happiness and joy.
ps:
Congratulations to Jahruddin Jais and partner too. Sorry guys cause i couldn't make it.
Me and wifey have a lot more weddings to attend this year. Even in recession, everyone seems to be doing ok. Alhamdulillah
